Window screen options

I ripped out all my existing screens when I bought my 1976 Argosy 26' last fall. All winter, I kinda fell in love with the ability to clean the insides, and use closed-cell foam inserts cut to size that I just pop in at night. It's genius, and I don't want to have to find another option just to accommodate screens. Yesterday, bug season got to me. I bought all the stuff to install the screens, but I can't bring myself to do it. Has anyone tried to rig up removeable screens? I'm imagining something like those coil - up mesh shades for a car window. I'd love to hear from some creative folks before I spend an entire day trying to stuff spline into these banged up old grooves. Thanks.

These are my genius window coverings. Great winter insulation as well.

I'm looking for something removable as well. Let me know if you find something.

I'm thinking rare earth magnets will stick to the screws, but not the frames. I might try the same foam cutouts, bit sew or adhere tabs that the magnets can pin down.
