Window Screen Dilemma

The bugs are coming out. One of my screens needs to be replaced. I have the screen and junk to replace it, but I feel like I should go ahead and clean up the screen frame and paint it before I put the new screen in.

The only thing holding me back is.. what if later I don't like the color and want to change it? This is causing me considerable angst.

Well, why do it then? After all, there is a bunch of them to do, not just one, right? On our trailer, IIRC the frames are in some really tough paint.

Some people have removed the paint and polished the frames. I think about that, then I go have a nap till the thought passes.

Of course, if your frames are in bad condition, well, pitter patter let's git atter!

Old faded paint, that's all. Good idea, I'll let em be. I'll just replace the screen. It'll be vintage. Cool..
