Heres a picture of the old window sash and how it is attached...we have the new window...but we can't get anything to budge...any ideas for the 70 model?

You must snap the round ring that holds the lift arm to the window.

Once that ring is off, you can lift the window over your head, and the window will drop out.

All that is holding you back is that ring.

ok we got it off...we had to rip out the larger flatter ring beneath the smaller round ring to get to it THEN -snap the small one out and off with a medium sized flathead screw driver...that was tricky and this has been a mystery to me for at least seven months...but the window is in now and thanks again. P.S. If I ever die, I bet this is going to be one of those moments that flashes in front of me Ha Ha!
