Window removing

How can I remove this rear window? It's 1972 Tradewind.
I thought by removing the little lock pieces both side would help but couldn't figure it out. Any answer would be so helpful, thank you.

I assume by "lock pieces" on the sides, you mean the rod that you use to prop the window open? So if these have been disconnected from the window frames, the whole window (glass and frame) should tip up (from the outside) past horizontal.

The hinge is in two halves, so what you need to do is stand on the outside of the trailer and open up the window, then with one hand on the lower (in the closed position) edge, and the other hand at the hinge, open it up past horizontal, and at some point the hinge will separate and you will be supporting the window.

Don't get caught by surprise and drop the window!

good luck!

They come out quite easy, but I strongly suggest that you have 2 people when you reinstall it. Don't ask me why!!! The side windows are doable by yourself if you are strong, but the front and rear are 2 person jobs. Sides are easier with 2 as well, as the track (hinge) are always bent a little and usually need some gentle pushing to get back in. Also note that there are stop screws (usually) at the exact both ends of the portion where the 2 sections hinge.
