Window Operator Handle Needed
I need a couple of window "lever" operator handles for my 75 Overlander.
Anyone know a source for this part, photo below? I need just the plastic part. Appreciate any advice.

If you can not find exact replacement, this would be an option.
https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Cupbor.../dp/B01983KSPG
add edit:
the item you are looking for is cabinet or shower hardware, called a back to back cylinder pull
add edit 2:
Another option would be to purchase plastic dowels, cut to length, drill holes for through bolts, sand the ends round

Thank you Allan: Back to back cylinder pull. I'll remember that one. I was going to call it a recoil starter handle for the old lawn mower Your idea of making one from a plastic dowel is good.
I hopeful someone might have a couple from a junk seventies trailer.

Handles for Flat Bar Window Operators from 1970s
David, we're reproducing them this summer. But in chrome plate. I hope that works for you.
They'll be VTS-2434. No other real details yet but we'll have them by early October.

Great to know. Yep they will work for me. Maybe add a touch of class to an old Overlander. I'm very happy you fired up your lathe and made some out of aluminum. Too expensive to build a mold for low volume replacements.
Gotta love Vintage Trailer Supply. I'm a big fan.

Even better...they will be cast zinc and chrome plated. We're taking a chance on demand.

I broke one when I removed it from the lever. It is 30 year old plastic that probably sees a lot of sunshine and UV. It was brittle, and when trying to loosen the rusty nut and bolt, the plastic broke on me.
I believe the shiny ones will be a decorative improvement, especially in the galley or dinette areas where they are exposed and not always hidden behind curtains.
When I get my set, I'll do a VTS review on them.
