I was a bit frustraited the other day with my leaky windows and gasp, made a minor odification that seemes to work well. Like many older Air Streams in heavy rains between worn gaskets and the occasionial window opened slightly for venting I tended to ship water. Very disturbing. I drilled two drain holes in each window frame channel. You can not see them with the window closed, although thinning the gasket slightly so the hole is not sealed with the window closed helps. End result is the window channel drains nicely outside instead of inside the trailer. I had no idea how much this would help, but made a difference. Worked much better than drilling the holes in the bottom of my boat...that just did not work well at all!
Just a thought.
Next step, new window and door gaskets...any tips?
