Angry Window Handle

I have about 10 window arms that the gray handle came off. How are they held on? How do I put them back on so they will not come off in my hand?

I've noticed the same problem on a unit we purchased a week ago. The knobs on the windos handles tend to come off. I see there are brass inserts in the knobs that have female threads. I assume the idea is to insert set screws......but that's an assumption. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks

are held to the rods (part #10) with small hex set screws...

the window LATCHES (part #12) are a bit more complicated (nuts/washers,springs n things)

it might be useful to download the PARTS manual for your unit...

Airstream, Inc :: Travel Trailer Manuals

lots of good stuff and pictures too.

a bit lower on the same page is the owners manual in pdf format.

cheers

window parts

Love the drawing of windows....I have a need of the "part 3" I'm not sure what it is called...I'll call it a "flange" that attaches to the top end of the crank arm....and clips and screws onto the wondow frame. I need 3 of these..Do you have any of them if not where can I get them...? Thanks
