Window fuzzy stuff

Thanks Alan for the information. The fuzzy seal is correct product and can be found from several parts dealers. As I stated I got mine from Woodmans Outdoor for .99 per foot.

The glue you referenced is not the correct glue for this application, it is for the door seal and window seals . The fuzzy seal goes on the window screen not the window itself.

I had a product I was using for another application and tried it. It works very well, but dries slower than the hot glue recommended by one of the suppliers. I tried hot glue, it sticks to the fuzzy seal very well, but as I was afraid, it did not stay attached to the aluminum window screen when tugged on.

I tried the hot glue recommended by one of the suppliers, it stayed on the fuzzy seal, but did not stay on the aluminum window screen frame when tugged. I tried another product that I had on hand and it takes longer to dry, but so far seems to be working well. It is E6000, I found it in the craft area at Walmart for $1.50 a tube. Read directions for use on tube.

I have fuzzy seal and have adhered it to the opening on the screen as indicated by others. My problem is the white string comes unraveled after it is cut. The white string I pulled is the one that is closest to the brush head, not the one on the loop side. There are 2 more strands of white string sewn on the fuzzy seal, I did not pull on them. They are coming unraveled and causing the fuzzy to be a mess at the top and bottom of the arm openings. Please advise how to stop this unravel before I end up with a bunch of grey fuzz everywhere.
