Which Sealant?

So, I have read most of the window sealant threads and not found my answer. But, this window has a gasket and the seam is very tight. I have sealed other windows with Sikaflex 221, without issue. However, this looks like Acryl R was probable used from the factory. Acryl R is no longer available. So, am I just to run a small bead of Sikaflex or is there another method?

IMO, I would use Sika for that application.

However, Acryl-R is available, at ODM.

Thanks for the reply & information. I contacted the company that makes Acryl R & they no longer make it in the pint containers, only much larger ones now. I have never used Acryl R and think I would rather stick to Sika. However, sometimes the small seams can be a pain.

I agree, Sika would be better for that window.
When I do windows like the one your photo shows, to prevent smears I use blue masking tape to create the line I need to caulk (similar to pin striping). Then I apply a very small bead and quickly smooth/compress it into the joint with my finger feathering the edges at the tape. Then immediately I remove the tape. If a caulking edge raises when removing the tape, I do not try to correct it until after the caulk cures. Then it can be trimmed with a razor blade. This gives really good smear free result.

I have a quart of Acryl R and a pump applicator. I have not used it 10 years.

Clean the old sealant well, wipe down with mineral spirits and apply.

Now that I would have not have thought of! And I have a bottle of it that on standby that I have not used yet. I think I will start with C.T. and I can always follow up with Sika if needed.
The sealant on top of the window is missing in spots and is cracking, so preventative maintenance time. No leaks have appeared yet, the area just looks like its in need of some work. Wish I knew what the factory uses on these small seams.

...... Not sure, but I would guess it's whatever they can get in bulk... the cheapest.
