What type of glue should I use? Window arm knob replacement

So I finally ordered some window arm knobs to replace the missing ones, but they don’t come with the attachment screws. Instead, it says I need to glue in place.

Any thoughts on the best tho of glue to use for this? I really don’t want one coming off while trying to open/close a window. The glue will need to be able to handle heat/cold when in storage as well.

Thanks all!

I've found the service guys at Airstream Factory to be an excellent resource. I often email them and ask their advice. In this case, I'd simply do that, and ask them what they use.

tel:937-596-6111 fax:937-596-7939. I usually go to this website:
https://support.airstream.com/hc/en-...=5921636758164

Airstream usually responds within 24-48 hours.

The following link can also be used for questions:
https://support.airstream.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I hope this helps.

Get some small grub screws (8-32?) and a bottoming tap and put the proper threads back in.

There is a far better choice, Vintage Trailer Supply sells a chrome knob with a set screw. Expensive, but worth every penny. We bought them for every window, put them on with a dab of Loctite and have NOT had one fall off in 4 years (they fell off continually before, every time we touched them!).

I installed those metal ones years ago. They are nice, but just like the original ones, they loosen up and spin a bit. Blue loctite fixed that.

Yikes! Back then they were a little over $5 apiece.
