Replacing window after repair.

I am Having trouble replacing the window in the frame after putting new feather weatherstrip on. on the j channel no problem on removal, but when i have tried to put the window back both ends line up but the but the center of the j channel will not slip back into place. what am i doing wrong?

Sometimes it takes two people to put the windows in. The window will sag in the middle and you need that extra hand to push the center up
