replacement part for a window frame?

ok--this is for SOT--I admit it--it's for our little canned ham Arrow--we are getting her ready to sell and there's a window that's broken--the hub got the pane out, but there's a piece missing on the aluminum frame--it's a crank type window--here's a pic of it--the part that the hub is holding is what's missing on the other side

can we just buy this part? we are not handy enough to fabricate one so we'd need one pretty much ready to just screw in or whatever...

any advice is appreciated!

I doubt that you'll ever find that part. If it were me I'd take it to a local sheet metal shop and see if they can replicate it for you. The more rural the shop the better the reception you'll get - at least in my experience. Good luck...

ok, Gary, will do--I'll have to hunt around for a local guy--someone who at least could get the window squared up again--even if i can't get it to open and close.
