Removing sash with plexiglass window

Hello! I am starting a window repair (double pane with interior plexiglass/exterior glass) for my 72 Land Yacht. I have not found a thread that discusses removing the plexiglass and keeping the glass for converting to a single pane window. I have removed the first window from the AS and taken out all of the screws that fasten the 2 sashes together. From what I have read, I should be able to just separate the 2 sashes now, discard the plexi and remove the peeling tint then clean the glass. But the interior sash is really stuck! I am afraid to use a screwdriver to get the sashes apart for fear of breaking the glass or bending the remaining sash. Has anyone had this problem that may have a good way to separate the 2 sashes??

Figured it out! Just have to take a putty knife to separate the 2 sashes and work them apart very carefully!
