Hi all,
Wondering how to remove the push arms from the window frame attachment?
It's a 71 Ambassador. I was expecting a C-clip to remove and then pull the bar through, but these are two washers. Is this outer piece threaded into the inner? I didn't want to start wrenching on it and break it off...
Any advice is appreciated.
Mine have nuts you unscrew. It's a 75 argosy
On closer examination, yours looks like it has a roll pin that you need to push out. Then it should come apart
I cannot see it on your pictures but it looks like mine on my '71 Ambassador. I have these horrible little c-rings that I really don't know how to take off except to spend about 10 minutes EACH with a little pick digging them out. I've only done one so far and it deformed to the point that I will need to find replacement c-rings. If you find a better solution for getting these off PLEASE post. I will do the same.

Upon further searching I found the following forum thread. It looks like I will get the clips off the window SOMEHOW and replace them with e-clips. Someone there even had to Drimmel off the "clip".
