Hi; There is a fellow on eBay that has been auctioning off several that he salvaged from an old AS. He has sold 3 already at $60 to $70 each. I don't 'need' one but have tried bidding on them for a spare. But I really don't want to spend that much. I don't know if he has any more to sell but keep watching.

I have 3 and can part with one - not really with the nob as I have several that are questionable but the square plate and grab mechanism I can part with. I'll PM when I get home - this will take 8 MORE DAYS.

Now who says Ebay has everything. Just ask in this Forum and the impossible happens. My tradewind has those kind of latches and thankfully they are all in great shape. However, should I break one I figure if need be the rear window has 3 latches so I may find it's center latch may 'temporarilly' save the day as a replacement.

Katrina Parts

I had access to a Katrina damaged trailer. The owner said I had 30 minutes to "get what I wanted". If I knew then what I knew now, I would have spent a whole lot less time talking and LOTS more time stripping. I paid a flat fee for the 30 minutes, they were reimbursed by the insurance company and were only looking to make some fast cash while it still sat in the yard. I only went after what I needed and had to leave it still rolling. There are still many more of these and one day I caught three going down the road on a semi trailer. Parts supply houses are doing big business on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Might be the reason there are so many parts on EBAY.

Anne,

Just private message me. I have two, one with handle and one without. When I got these I really only needed the handle and did not thinking of the rest of the unit. I only took them off the scrapped trailer because the owner told me to take them. If you need only the mechanism and not the handle then we can deal - I would like to keep the other as a spare.
