Rivet I need some window screens!

I have searched just about every possible website and can't seem to find any replacement window screens for my '68 Overlander. Does anyone out there have any idea where I might find some?

Welcome to the forums!

Try Colaws Salvage yard...they have wrecked Airstreams coming & going all the time. You might get lucky ~

I have a guy out here in WA state that might be able to locate the screens you need. At least he is always trying to get me to put in new metal screens so I assume he can get them.
Sorry he doesn't have a website ( other than Microsoft, we all don't have websites out here :-D ). His name is Bruce Baker and a toll free number is 1-866-556-0344
Hope this works for ya.

Do you still have the frames and is it just a matter of putting new screening into them? If so, you can get the screen fabric and rubber spline at any hardware store.

And if you do this, I'd suggest nylon, not metal. It doesn't corrode like metal, and doesn't have sharp edges, plus it's easy to cut to size.

The original screens have not been available for at least 30 years.

All you can do is try to find a salvage trailer, or have some made, since they all had square corners.

Hi there, BNC4K, and welcome. Sorry I can't be any help with the screen problem. I was wondering though, where is Mount Solon? Our youngest graduated from the Edward Via Med. Col. at V Tech. We spent a lot of time in Blacksburg and area. Beautiful country and great people.

I'm also looking for screens for 1968 Ambassador. Does anyone have a picture of what they look like? I was thinking I will need to fabricate from scratch.
Thanks
