Hehr 1964 window glazing strips

I replaced one window last summer and used the pvc strips from vts. They were hard to fit and didnt really seem to snap in securely. Checking today I find that 3 of 4 are missing and presumably fell out. Really not working for me! Any ideas? How about home window glazing compound? Or maybe a trick to make those strips stay put?

Try clear silicone between strips and glass. Just a light coat should hold the strips until you want to remove them. If you want a second option use double faced tape applied to edge of window then install strip and trim back tape at edge of strip. Apply a bead of Acryl-R or Parbond to seal top exterior edge of strip to glass. Ed
