Got my winders
Man my windows are neat. They were cut out of a squished 66 Overlander. I did not expect them to just hack them out of the poor thing .

It belongs to a member in WA state, doubt it would be in a salvage yard in MO.

It looks more like it was a lot number, or street address. The date on the front indicates it has been there since October of 2001. Maybe someone has an older member guide, and check that, just for S&G's?

If the number is 1744, it appears to be missing the last digit, because they are usually centered, and the first 4 is directly under the center light thus it should be the 3rd of 5 digits. I looked at the numbers in the 1994 and 1995 WBCCI directories we got with our trailer and found 1744 was registered in Florida, 17441 and 17447 registered in California, and 17446 was registered, but I couldn't determine where (I think this may have been an error). Interestingly, none of these numbers are registered in the 2004 directory, nor are any other 1744x numbers. The mystery continues.

Awhile back someone was looking for a cap for their fresh water tank. This unit appears to have the correct one. I hope whoever that person was catches this thread.

...but we still don't know where this one is parked. Or do we? I'm sure I could find a few items of interest.

Tedd,
I bet you will find out why they hacked them out when you try and remove one of the pieces of glass the way they are supposed to be removed.
On mine, there are soft-steel screws threaded into an aluminum plate that push a pressure plate against the glass. On the one window I tried to remove, the screws were seized, and twisted off . Drilling out the remainder brought no joy to the day.
I would start applying penetrating oil to the screws now If I were you.

Hey that A/C shroud looks like it would be a great replacement for ours - which is in about 10 peices right now - so brittle! you just have to look at and pieces fall off.
Sure liked that fabricated aluminum one on a different thread.
The manual jack stand would be nice too - we have a motorized one but not sure if it works yet. Would be nice to have a vintage back up instead of the stand out new ones.

I could use the round aluminum piece that is around the water fill tube, not the tube itself. If someone can snag it for me, I'll be glad to pay for it + shipping. Any takers? That's all I can see in the pictures. The vent caps with the lifters are worth grabbing too. It's not like you're allowing the interior to get wet if you take them with the windows torn out

P.S.: My 500th post. Yaaahoooo!
