Front Window Leak 2020 FC
Hi All, Need some help here. We have a 2020 FC 25FB and this past weekend we were in heavy rain. The front street side panoramic window started leaking. Not just a drip, but a steady stream. As you can see from the photo, it looks like it is leaking from where the metal trim around the window and body join. How are these windows installed? Calk, gasket, etc.? Are they easy to remove and reinstall?

It may not be your window, exactly. I had something similar with my 2019 FC front window. My repair shop did the positive pressure leak test and discovered a problem with the seal behind the hinge for the front windows's rock guard. They removed the guard, replaced the rubber seal, and put everything back together again.

I also dont believe that leak is the glass seal. If I am interpreting the pic correctly, that leak is coming from above the glass. It is either the riveted external window frame, or more likely, the rock guard track half that is mounted to the as body. IIRC, there is a horizontal rib that runs across the front, behind that track, so the leak may not be directly above the witness drip. That's a pretty strong leak...shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Wait, I am comparing the pic to my 2007 classic...is this leak way around the side, toward the rear "corner" of.the left window?
If so, look to the riveted external window frame, marker light, or rivets in the seam.

Leaking
I agree, the window seal looks bad. Wipe it dry Duck it and finish your trip and head for the dealer under warranty! Good luck.

Agreed with dznf0g;
Here was my leak and solution...

BTW I'd try/test with some duct tape or similar for the short term and immediately call the dealer. This is a warranty issue and you don't want to do work that would jeopardize that. Attempted leak repairs can go from sideways very quickly.

Thanks All, after an inspection this weekend, I do believe the leak is from the external riveted window frame. I called the dealer, and we have an appointment in three weeks. Glad it's still under warranty. Until then, duct tape to the rescue!
I will update once we get feedback from the dealer visit.
Again, thanks!

Go on the outside and starting at top of the window hinge run blue painters tape. Then overlay going up for a few rows. I had similar leak about 4 years ago ... I used this old fix and traveled for another month with no leaks.
Good news is it pulls right off with no residue.
Everyone should keep a roll of blue painters tape in their fix it box.

Here’s the update. We just picked up our FC 25FB from the dealer. They found several leaks we were unaware of during their testing. Resealed the entire window and water tested again - no leaks. While it’s not raining now in FL, I’m sure it will not be long before we let Mother Nature preform her own test. Very satisfied with the way the dealer handled this issue. Thanks all for your help and recommendations.
