Front rock guard panoramic window seal repair

I’ve got 2 repair questions for my front rock guard windows on my 2019 Globetrotter 27 FBQ.

There’s a thin rubber gasket around the center window rock guard that continually falls out like the first attachment. I’ve pushed it back into place, but it continues falling out, which makes the rock guard window loose in its frame. Has anyone found a longer term solution for this gasket?

There’s a thicker black gasket (other attachment) that’s runs around the exterior frame of my front left window rock guard that’s also come loose. Do I need to replace the entire rubber piece around the window, or can I glue it back into place for now?

YES

We used 3m weatherstrip cement sparingly applied into the cavity NOT on the strip, making sure the channel & strip are clean.

Brakleen is a good cleaner that evaporates quickly & won't damage the clearcoat.

I cut the corners on the skinny ones and shove em back in with a plastic putty knife.

A little glue like said above x2

This is what I did also. Problem seems to start with a little shrinkage that pulls the corners out, the glue probably isn't needed with the corners cut.

I also have had this problem on a 2019 16RB. I removed, cleaned and reassembled all parts OK.
But some of the outside flat rubber was damaged.
What should I do to replace the outside flat rubber?
Is there a caulk or replacement material available?

If the rubber has shrunk or hardened try replacing it. It's not expensive.

The rubber used to hold the plexiglass in place is sold in various diameters. Go to the nearest hardware store and get a pack of the next size up and try that if the original size still does not hold.

It's normal for the corners to pull out as the stuff shrinks over time, but if it doesn't stay put at all you can try larger.

Flat outside weather strip

I need this flat weather strip from the window rock guard on my 16RB. Where can I get it?

I use a screen roller tool to push mine back in. They stay in longer & it's an easy, quick job.

I don't believe what you're seeing is weatherstripping.

When the plexiglass comes from the factory it is covered with a protective film, and Airstream installs it into the frame of the rock guard before peeling off the film.

If my guess is correct, what you're looking at is the remnants of that protective film creeping out after someone peeled it off but didn't get all of it out. To my knowledge, the only 'weatherstripping' holding the plexiglass in place is the round splined rubber cord on the back side which is tucked into the aluminum channel.

No guess, that's exactly what that is in the pic. It will also come out from under the edging on the stainless corner protectors eventually as well.

Look closely you’ll prob find clear blue plastic along some edges of stainless panels on fridge. Pp think it’s peeling, like the window it was never fully peeled
