Question Do you have a trick for putting the windows back in .......???

everything has been off for cleaning and polish , but having a hard time getting some of the curved windows back in. seems that the center is not catching. ...any tips from you on this dilemma??? please help


also does anyone know of a cheaper way to get replacement windows .
or glass?????

It takes a swift thump with my hand to get the center of mine to set in. It also helps to have a helper hold the window while I thump it.

What year?

If it is a 70s with a J hinge you need to raise the window way up to engage the hinge.

Just a follow up, were you able to get them in? Mine need to be done, and I'm feeling a bit gun shy, or should I say window shy..
