Broken Window

Hello, this is my first post so I'm new here and Thanks for having me. I have an Airstream in southern OH at a campground. The owner of the campground called me and said that someone had busted out the front left rear window. I don't have the slightest idea on how to proceed to get this fixed. What I would like to do is have a professional go there and fix it for me, is this possible? Thank you.

I'm not quite sure I understand which window you are referring to.

But, most glass shops will do service calls. The problem may be finding one that has the proper glazing etc.

I would bet you will have to go to airstream. Do you have a dealer close. no glass shop on the east coast will help you tried them had to order through Airstream in Cofax N.c.

You are not that far from Jackson Center. I would tape some plastic over the windows and tow it to Jackson Center. Those 1983 windows are exclusive to Airstream.

My curb side window rock guard came loose when towing and whipped around to smash this curb side window, before flying away to places unknown. New parts for both add up to around $1,000.

Would like to find used parts, does anyone know what years or models would have compatible windows or glass?

This is an opening window off a 1988 Excella 29.

That's what your insurance is for.

Add freight to those costs as well.
