Argosy window latch
I am missing some of the latches that keep the windows closed on my Argosy 24. Hopefully, I am calling this part by the proper name. It is a small, chrome handled cam that, when truned will latch the window closed or unlatch so the window may be opened. I checked through all the strings in this post and could not see where anyone else requested this kind of thing before. The window latches for the airstreams I have seen are much different than those in my Argosy. Were do I get these? I cannot seem to find them online anywhere. I have not checked with the Airstream dealer because the part is at least 30 years old. Any suggestions?

Good evening, Can you post a photo of the window latch. The cam latch you describe, if the same as on my '77' Minuet is like the current production used on new Airstream.

Thanks for the quick reply. I took a photo but could not figure out how to add it to the posting. It wants me to give a URL so I am lost. I will have to get my 15 year old to show me how to do it.
Thanks.

We claim, and have, more parts in stock, for the vintage trailers than anyone on the planet.
We carry over 3300 different Airstream parts in stock.

Hey Andy,
I am finally ready to pick some of those window latches you told me you have available. I also need to so some work inside which will require drilling out rivets and relplacing them. Any suggestions on what rivet gun to have for the project? Is there just one size I need to be concerned with or what?

You can obtain a decent pop rivet gun from Home Depot for about $20.00.
Use a # 30 drill bit to remove old 1/8 inch pop rivets or to make new holes for the 1/8 pop rivets.
That was the only interior size pop rivet that was used.
