2016 Classic 30 - Egress Window question
Looking for someone to tell us the difference between the egress (road side) bedroom window and the window on the curb side.
On the way home from picking up our A/S from the dealer a few days ago, the egress window blew out. We discovered it when we got home. Apparently, the window was not locked when we left the dealership.
They are trying to find a replacement window (and we are looking as well) however, there is a question as to what the actual difference is in the window glass. From the parts list the egress window is listed as 30" x 30" (part #371380-01). The curbside window is listed as: Window, opening, 30" tall (part #371380). The only difference between the two part numbers is the "-01".
It seems to us that the only difference in the two sides is the quick release of the screen (the spline loop at the bottom inside) and the red handles and red locks. Are we right or wrong?
The "plain" window is available and local (they have 3 in stock) but the "egress" window will take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive. Any expert guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. We are befuddled at the inability of even the technicians at A/S headquarters to commit to saying they are the same exact window (besides the red parts).
Thank you for sharing any knowledge you may have on this.
