1957 overlander hehr window operator

Hello I need to replace missing window operators and also the new ones I purchased from VTS. I have rebuilt the rear window and the new operator I purchased from VTS raises the window okay however when lowering the window it bounces roughly? I am looking for a better quality operator any suggestions? Thank you

My original operators allow the front & rear (larger) windows to "bounce on the way down. You may try some extra lube but I just crank slower.
PS I took all of my original mechanisms apart to clean & lube. I found that the arms (or levers) were bent so I straightened them to help the window seal on the gasket.

Thank you for your response. I did not think the original ones would do that knowing Wally was a smooth operator/creator.

Mine does that also, with original and VTS replacements. There is slop in the gears and the weight of the larger windows is also a factor. I haven't found a good lubricant to eliminate the issue.

I assume you cleaned up any old lube or burrs in the channel.

Thank you for your response. Yes I did. I am going to try one from Blaine hardware they are currently out of stock I should get it in about 4 weeks. It looks heavier duty I will post if it does a better job.
