I'm looking for the piece of rail (one of two) that is used in my rear window. It receives the lock. the other is used to mount the actuator. It is 17" long and 1/2" in wide.

bought a complete window assembly from Uwe at the resto rally so I may have a spare. I'll check as soon as I can.

sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have both of the vertical supports on my spare frame. they are the size you described. If you still need it PM me the address and you can have the one you need for the cost of postage Finding the correct original size/style of rivet is another matter entirely.

Hi Randy, Again sorry it took so long. I mailed the rail off a couple of days ago. Hope it works for you.
Dont worry about the postage, I feel bad that it took this long (and who knows- I might need something someday)

Thanks Tim,

Regretfully it is the window side piece that fits into the piece you sent me that i needed. I can send this back to you if you like.
Thanks again. Let me know if you have the window side piece
