Where can I get new keys made for my 1972 airstream trailer

Ijust purchased my airstream a few weeks ago, and only received 1 set of keys. I for the trailer and 1 for the outside compartments. I have gone to 3 places, a Home depot and a small private locksmith andkey shop and a lowes, and no one can make the airstream key for me.. Is there a trick to getting the blank key and then haveing it made?? I am in the San Fran bay area. Thanks for your help.

I had all of my keys made at Lowes......and they all worked.

I recently made copies for another camper to have a second set. Lowes could do some of them but not the door key. I found out the local Ace Hardware keep a lager selection then most.

Several years ago I had a spare set made at a local safe & key dealer.

I ordered the blanks for the door from the Airstream Store. 877-596-6111 x 7400

My local Ace Hardware cut them for free.

Thanks, I am headed to a specialty locksmith todya, and if they don't have it I will contact the Airstream supply or vintage Airstream supply. Maggie

Try out of doors mart for the blanks. Keys : Out-of-Doors Mart!, More Airstream Parts on-line than anyone!

Thanks to all, I was really lucky, and the guy where I store my trailer has a key machine and a bunch of blanks, so he went through all his things and made me two new keys for free!!! I think he likes my Airstream!!!
