Updated keyless entry lock BAUER LOCK

A few days ago, I went to open the door to my 34 foot 1993 Excella classic, and the door handle fell off in my hand. I thought about fixing the old handle, or replacing like for like, but then I found the BAUER NE door handle. The Bauer door handle is a self contained, battery operated keyless entry handle. I contacted the manufacture, and was able to get some information regarding the lock. The lock was installed with only minor modifications, and it works great! Here are a few pictures for those that are interested. I made a power point presentation as well to document the install process.

the lock is larger but the hole in the door did not change. The keypad area is "free floating" over the door exterior.

Thanks all. I have been putting the system to the test and it works well. I am still Leary of trust any lock 100% but that's just me. I'd recommend hiding a key somewhere regardless, you just never know.

Thanks for posting, I've always wanted keyless entry.

It's a bit disconcerting that most of the links I tried on their website didn't work. I hope they didn't use the same programmer for the lock!
