Room divider

I’m not sure if this is the right forum but close enough.
Has anyone had problems with closing the little room divider drape type thing? We have one between the bedroom and another in the main area to block off shower area. Anyway both are broke and I cannot find the part or how to replace. Another annoying Airstream flaw. Thanks for any ideas.

replacement parts

If it is the little hangers that ride in the tracks, it is a 10 min fix. You can contact Cheryl at Irvine Shade and Door Inc and she will send you replacement hangers free of charge. Her phone number is 574-522-1446.

It’s just the plastic part that connects to the wall to keep the partition closed. I’ll have to take a picture.

Hey BWPAINT, I did receive replacement hangers from Irvine. How do you remove and replace the brass color rivet with out damaging the curtain. I considered a drill but not sure and then there is finding the correct rivet.

We replaced ours with curtains. It’s like 6 screws that you remove with a Philips head screwdriver. The channel comes off the ceiling and the accordion slides out.

Inset new slides, clips, and curtain choice and you’re done. If you’re interested I’ll post links of everything I used but to replace the part that broke, you’ll have to remove everything anyways. Just a thought.

Clips for curtain

Rollers for the channel

Curtain we picked but you can use any curtain as long as it’s 59” x 70”

Question on slides

Hi there, I came across your post….for the slides, did you purchase the 10.5mm size or the 14mm size?

I never specified on my order so must of been the smaller wheels. Everything still works great too. What curtain are you choosing?
