Need to fix my lock and latch

Hello all,
It's been a while since I posted here.
I have a 1975 Overlander
I need some help fixing the latches/locks on my doors.
The first thing is the plastic latch that secures the screen door to the main door has come loose and I don't see any way to take it apart to reattach it. Do these come apart or do I need to buy a new one.
Secondly, the little latch that locks the main door from inside has fallen out somewhere. Now I can't lock my door - either from inside or outside with the key. Any simple fixes for this? I probably don't need to lock it from inside but hate to leave my camper unlocked when I leave it alone up at the lake.
I used to have a photo album here but can't find it now. Maybe you can look at the pics on my photobucket account to see what I mean.
TIA
Jerry

The little latch does come apart. Slide the top part against the pressure of the spring until it hits a stop and then pry it apart with a putty knife or hit the sliding end with a sharp tap. The itsy bitsy spring inside will want to go flying. 50/50 it will break. Inland RV sells a replacement. Not quite the same design but it works good.

The little latch will cost you about $40 if you buy it but a hardware store machine screw or little bolt has the same thread and does the job for about 0.15/
