It's called "bug guard".

Parts stocking dealers have them.

They must be trimmed to fit.

wasagachris or Andy, could you give me the exact dimensions on that slider? I need one that is at least 12 1/4" tall. Everything I have found at camper stores are 12" and they just fall out.

What year trailer/motorhome do you have?

The one Chris posted is for 70 to 77 trailers. It's only about 7 inches tall.

The next one up is for 78 on up trailers and it's about 8 1/2 inches tall.

The last one is for motorhomes, and it's a little less than 12 inches tall.

Thanks Andy, but that isn't going to help me any. Mine is a 1984 Holiday Rambler and must be an odd ball size because I can't find one that fits anywhere. I've been to Colaw's RV Salvage yard several times. Every one of the HR's anywhere close to my year has the slider missing. I guess I am going to have to modify an existing one or make my own.
