A Matrix of the many different Locksets/door handles AS has used would certainly IMHO be a real neat resource for the multitudes...don't you think??
I am not capable of producing the matrix (chart with or without pictures that would ID the right part with the right model and year) but I know we have the expertise among us to do just that.
I'm thinking Shari/Inside Out since she did such a good job on her general AS Matrix.
BTW why doesn't Organic Andy include a link to that matrix on the homepage?
There are other items that a good Matrix would surely help many of us sort out too. Any suggestions?
I hereby nominate Shari as the Matrix Matron. She needs another hat

.
I suggested the matrix on the thread where a member found an old-New lockset and was making plans to buy a golf course with his proceeds, but I guess the sugestion got lost in the anticipation.

As for the many locksets used, apparently there was something :
aka the "refridgerator style" handle;
Bargman L-66
Bargman L-77
Bargman L-100;
Bargman L-200;
KT (the infamous $575.00 dollar handle);
and probably many more
As for low volume duplication;
There often seeme to be a ripple of interest in someone knowing someone who knows someone who can duplicate obsolete parts, but the initiators

always seem to underestimate the difficlty and cost of such undertakings. And I don't recall any of the "pipedreams" ever becoming reality.
