Can anyone tell me where I can get a piece like this. Also, how hard is it to re-rivet it inplace? I'm hoping to have this repaired before this weekend, but I'm assuming it'll have to be ordered online and will take a week to get in.
We just arrived home from camping at Emarald Lake FS campground and the wind just took the door from me. I'm glad the only damage was this latch piece, lesson learned.

A stocking Airstreams dealer such as Inland RV or Out of Doors Mart should be able to supply the part, but often they have minimum order sizes for parts.
It is a simple two rivet job to replace. Drill the old pop rivets out with an 1/8 inch drill, put the new part in place with long enough pop rivets and a pop rivet gun.
Sorry that nasty wind got you. I have had it happen to me too and at times it can even damage the door or panels when it slams back into the side of the trailer.
Thanks for the fast pea pod support Rob! I'll check both these places for the part as well as a pop rivet gun. Glad to hear it's a simple fix though. I'm defiinetly going to order 2 of these, but I hope this doesn't happen to me again; next time I might not be so lucky.
The pea pod is pure pleasure to camp with; thanks!! Any news on your new AS?
