Keys

The keys that came with my airstream won't open the storage where the batteries are stored. Is there a way to get the codes? They are locked.

Thank You

check the front of the locks for a number stamped on the face. it should be easily replaced with that info.

My 91 Excella has a keyless entry, the previous owners didn't have the code. With some searching I found that it could be found in the cabinet above the table. Not there. Any ideas on how I can find out what the code is or how if it can be reprogrammed?

If it is the same as my 93, the key is pretty generic. If I have the right key it is an ILCO 1536. When I can get to it I can send you a copy which I think has a good chance of working, but that might take a while.

i've seen post about the code being written on the contro; box. try the google search in the tool bar above and let us know if you found what you need.

Hello Melissi

The battery compartment locks are standard; all Airstreams of the same year use the same lock unless a former owner changed it. A call to Inland RV or Out-of-doors Mart should get you the keys you need, or you can contact a local Airstream dealer if you have one.
