I have a 1969 Globetrotter. It has a Bargman L-100, I am told this is not the lockset that came with this trailer.
Doesn't matter. I want to replace it, with something less expensive, more reliable, available parts and more convenient. IOW something modern. I dont really care about keeping it vintage correct. Safety and convenience in my trailer.
I see vintage campers has an L-100 retrofit kit, but it says not for doors with cast aluminum frame.

The Bargman L100 was the original lock for the 1969. In fact I had a 1969 Globetrotter with that lock installed. I sold it to a guy in Australia so I can't provide a picture.
I sell, repair and rebuild the Bargman locks of all models. I have them new and used as well. If you need assistance with your lock please reach out to me. I will be glad to help you.

Are there other options?

I am looking for a Bargman L100 (due to a broken LONG latch bolt) If you replace yours would you consider selling either the LONG latch bolt or entire door lock assembly once you have completed your replacement
