Heya, been workin' hard on this ol' scrapheap, and I've gotten to the point where removin' the door handle was as simple as pulling it out. After reviewing
this, I've determined that all the parts are still there.
This is my beef with the handle, though:
The Door Handle '75 Sovereign - ew Photo Gallery
(HOW DO YOU POST PICTURES HERE?!)
The very aluminum skin is peeling off to reveal some disgusting, grainy white stuff.
And the backside of the handle is covered in rust, or something very similar to rust. It squeaks something awful when it's operated.
How can I restore this otherwise fine handle to it's former, shiny glory?
Thanks for your time!
