Help with finding shower door sealer

The plastic door trim that helps keep the water in on my 2018 classic shower door has ripped. It's not in the Airstream parts book they only list the complete door. I called the manufacturer today but left a message as no one answered. Any help to find this part number would be appreciated. Click image for larger version

That seal has been discussed a number of times. Look here:

I have the same problem on my 2015 classic. Does anybody know where to find a replacement strip?

Thank you, after reading this I'm thinking I'm not going to replace it.

Are you sure you need it? Mine was replaced twice under warranty. The last time it tore, I removed it and took a shower. No water on the floor! So I never replaced it.

I didn't replace mine after it ripped. I have no issues with water leaking outside the shower.

My door did leak onto the floor without the strip. I fixed it with this five years ago, it works perfect.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Mine ripped in the first year of ownership. My dealer had to put spacers in the hinges to slightly raise the door. It has been fine since then. You might want to give Airstream a call and see if they will ship them to you. I understand they are very easy to install. This prevents the door from pinching the sweep, which causes these issues.

I replaced mine twice and then gave up. It seems to work better without it. No drips at all.

For some reason the Airforums link is changing something. Take the below URL and copy and paste it into google

https://www.amazon.com/Translucent-V...0865841&sr=8-2

Or this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Translucent-V.../dp/B0149IL0HU

Also try the links on a laptop instead of a phone.

The product description is:

"CRL Translucent Vinyl Edge "L" Seal with Pre-Applied Tape for 3/8" Maximum Gap - 95 in long"

Thank you I got the search to work. For now I took out the ceiling edge and then cut the part that swipes the water off. Then reinstalled just to ensure no moisture got up in the door. So far it might actually be working better.

The factory sweep / seal installs into the bottom channel of the door and extends down (vertically) to touch the top of the fiberglass floor sill. The plastic is too ridged and eventually breaks off.

The CRL strip from Amazon installs with a tape strip on the inside bottom of the door with the strip facing inward (horizontally) guiding the water from the door back into the shower. It does not touch anything so it seems to last for ever.

The above link worked perfectly and took less than 1 minute to order.

shower door seal

go to hardware store and buy 3/8 wide x 1/4 tall foam insulation in a roll
sticky on one side about $3. clean and dry the threshold and apply foam
to bottom of threshold NOT the door, Take the original plastic strip completely off. The foam is also handy for other things. Keeping out drafts at door,
where doors strike, good luck. Easy to replace after a year or so (if you can
find the roll again
