I'm not sure if the doors are interchangeable or not. 1969 was a transition year for Airstream with a new body style. Many things that year are not exactly the same as the 70s.
If you just need a door lock, Out of Doors Mart sells them on their website, but they are pricey. Inland RV sells a conversion kit that would let you replace the door lock with a newer style. Both options would be easier then replacing the door.
