door and access panel locks

I have just purchased a 66 Safari. It came with a key to the door, but no key to the two access panels on the right side. Is there any way to approach this problem short of calling a locksmith? Thanks

I would try to access the backside of the panel from inside the trailer. You should be able to then remove the nut holding the latch and take the door off.

I'd then remove the lock and have it rekeyed at a locksmith.

Burnzee, I brought my A/S to a dealer who lost all of my keys.They sent a locksmith out to open the panels and make new keys. It took him about 15 min, and he made 4 of each key, Could be a lot easier then other methods. ( the dealer also lost my heater door) P J
