Can’t lock KT lock from inside

1970 Tradewind with KT lock. Locks fine with key, inside locking shaft only moves down part way but not enough to lock door. I had lock out and lubed it up and it worked fine while out of door. I’m stumped. Take out and lube up some more or anything else I should look at?

My kt lock also does same thing as you described, what I found is slightly pull inside handle when pushing locking pin down, some times same way to unlock also make sure pin is screwed all way tight as tends to work loose.
