I'm considering buying a 65 overlander that had the door swing open while towing and unfortunatley got seriously "wrenched" and is now warped on the top and bottom edges of the door. Can anyone tell me if this is able to be repaired, how difficult or would it always be a problem? Do you ever replace them? I just wouldn't want to buy it if it's a serious issue. I'm trying to find out if the owner has checked for leaks-if not I'll take a hose to it!
I'd say yes it is serious if it is warped badly. It may be hard to fix and finding a replacement could be difficult and expensive if not impossible.
It is going to have some leaks, count on it even if the PO says there are none. Most leaks aren't too big of a problem to fix if you can find them.

Thanks a lot. I had a feeling this would likely be the case-although there was a thread about bending doors back into chape on pre-69 models where the door was not cast but formed-
