1955 Cruiser Door Adjustment

I have a 1955 Cruiser and need o adjust main door so it will close and lock. What steps do I need to adjust. I saw a video for later models but not mine.

Lock will not catch..
Bad alignment?

Do you have the original H20-2 latch assembly and suicide DWID or something else? these are very pretty but are notorious for letting go at the wrong time. A secondary latch is a very good idea when towing.
