Cell phone reception

Just wondering what cell phone reception inside an aluminum tube is like? Do we need to look into a booster?

My experience is that it is terrible. We just keep our phones on the window sills.

Ours kind of knocks it down by a bar or two. So if reception is marginal to begin with at a given location, it'll be gone within the RV. But if reception is great, then the Airstream doesn't muck things up too badly.

Same as my experience.

I use Verizon. Voice communication is about the same for me...... just slightly less. However data rate drops off significantly. I use an iPhone 7. Of course many of the places I like to go have no signal inside or out. [emoji4]
