Opinions wanted: Ultimate Road Warrior bundle install with Colonial or do myself

Hey everyone - My wife and I are picking up our 2021 AS International 27FBT in Feb sometime from Colonial RV. We have been talking to Patrick and he mentioned they can do any other changes we want to the AS before we pick it up if we send the items out to them.

I was wondering if anyone has done this before in regards to Internet equipment. I am going to be purchasing the Ultimate Road Warrior bundle with the MobileMark antenna (because of the AS metal roof).

I have seen several thread with folks tapping into the pre-wired antenna stuff, but was debating just having Colonial install the Antenna and use the MobileMark cables and route into the front compartment over the dinnette.

We will need to leverage Internet connectivity on our way home across the states (Colonial RV to Washington State) and plan to use this to work during the week while we take our time going home.

Just looking for opinions from more experienced owners and if anyone has experience with Colonial RVs techs on this type of stuff.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan
I just completed the job myself and shared the experience in another post yesterday.

You can do it yourself but it is a half day job plus a lot of fine tuning the modem, you need a basic understanding of routers / modems.

Thanks for posting that thread. I think it was getting started when I posted and was not fully aware it was covering the same thing I was actively trying to solve.

I am going to just do what you did and buy it from MobileMustHave and set it up at home and then install it when I go to pick it up.

Thanks,
Dan
