Has anyone seen their “next” year of the original plan successfully roll over?
My original plan expiration date is April 6th, and I purchased two additional years before the plans expiration date.
I know some of you had earlier expiration dates and did the same. All good?

Yep, rolled over like it was supposed to. I was kind of holding my breath there though.

This makes me twice as angry with at&t. If you know there’s no free lunch here, surely they knew there was no free lunch here - but the vast majority of consumers wouldn’t know that. To offer a deal they knew they couldn’t keep sounds eerily close to fraudulent bad faith to sucker well meaning people out of their hard earned money.
I have a trip scheduled to the factory in which i was going to shell out for the expensive hardware to get the long term inexpensive service. I’m glad to know it’s a pipe dream now but very sorry for those who got in under the same false expectations to have the rug pulled out from under them.
They had to know better.
If they won’t grandfather current buyers, they should at a minimum offer to repurchase the hardware and pay for the deinstallation.
You pretty much just proved they had to know their deal was a fraud from the start....
Ugh....

No more "unlimited" on the ATT plans...
My Airstream Connected unlimited plan was shut off unexpectedly last night. Apparently I used all my data 2 months short of my year long contract being up in June. Found this out after not being able to log into my Airstream Connected account and being on the phone with AT&T for 2 hours this morning. Not sure what to do for internet now. Anyone found a decent option since the unlimited plan is no more?

The only way you will get after a truly unlimited, uncapped, un-throttled and non-network managed plan is to move to the grey-market and rent a grandfathered plan on a month-2-month basis. These are $200-$250/mo for the SIM card.
Otherwise you need to work within the boundaries of what the market is currently offering. rv mobile internet site is your friend.

Hello,
We are full timer in our airstream, and we use a lot of data. I am curious about your setup. We currently have airstream connected installeed, but we use the data too fast, and I am looking for cheaper option. If I buy another peplink router, can I just swap it out with the current router I have? What is the wireless module you mentioned? Also, what is OTR sim? I tried swapping out the AT&T sim card with Cricket sim card, but it does not work.
Thank you.
