Delorme makes a bundle with their Earthmate USB GPS bundle. I run the software on my laptop with the USB bug on the dash.
My laptop rides on a plexiglass tray on an arm I made from pipe fittings and flanges. Take a look at my photos for ideas. Cheap, and easy to do.

Oh, you could also do whole hog and invest in the new Navion R5000 system.... but only Lazydays seems to be quoting prices... still a mystery to me.

That's because they are enjuneers they don't know how to speel. Sadly my daughter falls into that class. She is outstanding and chemistry and receives top grades on her practicals but loosed ground on the written stuff.

I used the Delorme software and GPS receiver for years before I, for some reason I can't remember, I switched to Microsoft Streets & Trips w/GPS) (Actually, it had somehing to do with buying itfor $10 at an auction). It has a pretty blue light in the receiver, but the Delorme software was far more accurate than the Microsoft. I was going to buy the Delorme software, but it isn't compatible with the MS receiver. The laptop sits nicely on the fold down console of the F250 on a sheet of rubbery non-slip shelving material.
