King Dome Satellite

I got the opportunity to buy a used King Dome Satellite. Does anybody have any experience installing it on the roof of their Airstream/Argosy.

I have one, but have not put in on the roof yet. I'm planning on custom fabbing a easily removable, but lockable system.

I was made aware that although very easy to use, the acquisition technique may require the user to swap ports on the dome in order for a signal to come thru.

It's a giant PIA that I should have returned the dish for. It's a known issue.

Sounds painful. Will wait and see what further info I can get.

At the moment want to find out how to mount it. The idea of drilling holes in the roof is a little daunting.
