Internet On-the-Go goes 4G
I shared a few years ago about by particular need to have Internet when camping but that I was not full-time and needed it once in a while. I found the Internet On-the-Go service at Walmart as a fit for that kind of usage.
About a year ago they changed their policy where you have to use it at least every 60 days or lose your banked minutes. I did not like it but hey it works.
Now the service joined the 4G world. I am testing it this weekend out on the road. So far it is definitely faster that previously- at the house.
If you are like me and do not want to pay a monthly fee for something you use once in a while then you might check it out too. You only buy the hotspot and pay for the data minutes that never expire (as long as you log in every month or so) The network is Sprint but so far I haven't had a place it did not work for me.
