Connecting Starlink Antenna Cable to Airstream SmartPlug Ethernet

Has anyone tried connecting the standard Airstream antenna cable to the Smartplug Ethernet plug on a new Airstream?

Since this is a Cat-6 cable (I'm guessing at that), it would simplify getting the Starlink signal into the Unit.

Basically what I'm thinking is:

1) Cut the Starlink connector off the antenna cable and replace with an ethernet plug.
2) Where the Airstream Cat-6 cable Terminates in the media closet, connect
the POE ethernet cable from a Dishy or custom POE injector to the Inside Airstream Ethernet Plug.
3) Connect the POE device with a swapped RJ-45 Plug to a router inside the Airstream

I've been searching everywhere and can't find anyone who has done this. Is there something I'm missing that would prevent this from working?

Thanks,
Rich Howarth

I will be interested in your findings. Starlink has a proprietary system and who knows what might work. You might look at some starlink forums and see if they have any info. I'm planning on running the starlink cable through a 5" x 5" cable entry door I installed at the rear of my AS on the on the underside. It comes in inside the dinet seat. I can then rout the cable to the Starlink router and use their WiFi to send it throughout the AS , to the TV and laptops etc.

The Starlink Antenna Cable is a standard Cat-6 Shielded cable (but with non-standard wire usage). In talking to people, the only reason I can see that the Airstream cable might not work is because it isn't shielded.
