Winegard on / off

Everyone,

We have a 2007 Safari 27FB. In the living area, and have the Winegard cable connector with the on / off switch. Am I correct in saying that this switch connects the antenna to all cable outlets in the trailer? I have a two additional cable connectors without the switch. one under the dinette and one in the bedroom. The main reason for asking is because I am attempting to add a TV to the bedroom.

The switch turns the antenna booster off and on. Turn it on for over the air. (antenna). Turn it off when connected to cable or satellite. The other two connector outlet under the dinette is to connect a satellite receiver.

Got it, Dave. So the switch controls the for the antenna for the bedroom Cable inlet too?

Yes, the switch controls the amplifier for "air" reception for all "cable" outlets in the AS. The two that dave refers to, should have a jumper between them when no satellite receiver is installed. They simply provide a "break" in the whole house cable runs to insert the receiver. Whena receiver is installed, you would still use the wall amplifier switch to move between air reception and satellite/cable reception.
